WHO ARE WE?
Lend-A-Bone Rescue is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization that is working to help reduce the amount of dogs in the pound and help those especially who have a more difficult time finding a home. We focus largely on dogs that are on the euthanasia list and help find them foster or adoptive homes. We also provide assistance to low income/homeless pet parents to help keep their pets fed and healthy. At our rescue facility we house some of our pups up for adoption along with a dog store that sells treats and toys for your furry pup. All profits from the store go right back into our rescue and helping us fulfill our mission.
WHERE ARE THE DOGS FROM?
All dogs are rescues from local shelters, we keep them with us until they can find a home and are adopted!
CAN I SURRENDER A DOG TO YOU?
Sorry at this time we are unable to take in any dogs directly. Please visit your local shelter if you need assistance with surrendering a dog.
DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?
You are more than welcome to visit us at anytime during business hours and buy some treats or toys in the store. But we do recommend a reservation if you're set on visiting a potential pup adoptee to ensure you will have a 1-1 with them.
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
We offer a dog retail shop with a rescue hang out vibe. You can shop around with your pup for treats and toys where all profits go right back into our rescue. You can also head into the back where there is a doggy day care, and your dog can hang out with our rescue pups. HOW DOES ADOPTION WORK?
You fill out an adoption application form. Once your application is cleared and approved one of our employees will contact you to set up a meet and greet with the pup. If that goes well, you would then be able to take the pup home for an adoption trial or sign our adoption contract, pay the adoption fee, and take your forever family member home!
We always allow and encourage you to return the pup to us if it doesn't end up working out.

HOW MUCH IS THE ADOPTION FEE?
Adoption fee can range anywhere from $85-275 depending on the dog and it's needs. These fees help cover vet bills for the rescue and ensure our dogs go to loving forever homes that can provide for them.
DO THE DOGS COME VACCINATED?
All our dogs are current on vaccinations, microchipped and fixed. Younger pups will receive vaccinations and spay/neuter when the time is appropriate.
