Meet Snooki, our first rescue of 2021! We are so happy we were able to take this sweet girl in all thanks to her awesome foster. This sweet girl was found as a stray by our partnered shelters. She was covered in cuts, scars, and bruising from top to bottom. She’s also VERY malnourished and has multiple masses on her body. We can tell she has been through so much abuse and all we want to show her now is love and happiness. Despite her condition and how cruel she’s been treated in the past she’s still such a sweet girl filled with so much love. Snooki will be visiting our vets to help get her back to 100%. Her foster says she’s been wagging her tail non stop and is such a couch potato since she arrived plus she absolutely LOVES toys! Snooki is such a special girl who deserves her happily ever after and we are so excited for her future. She is so deserving of a forever home who will never abandon or hurt her again and we will find her that. If you're interested in spoiling this girl and giving her the best life ever, reach out. Snooki would LOVE to meet you.
Roscoe is the newest member to our rescue and is still looking for a foster home! This cutie pie is a 5 year old Shar Pei who was surrendered to us because his owner could no longer care for him. He’s a smaller medium sized pup and weighs about 35lbs. Roscoe is suffering from what we think is a skin infection or allergies. He has an appointment on Monday with our partnered vets and we’re hoping to find out more about his condition then. As for now Roscoe is in great spirits and is such a little love bug! He’s done great meeting other pups and actually wanted to play with them all. He also seems to be potty trained as he hasn’t had any accidents yet. Roscoe also knows how to sit, lay down, spin around, plus he does this cute little thing where he will stand to get a treat. Roscoe is a such a special boy who we are so happy we rescued. If you’re interested in this cutie pie, reach out or fill out a foster application on our website.
Meet father and son duo, Rocky and Gizmo. Due to their owner going into assisted living, these cuties found themselves needing a place to live. Their family tried to make it work but, the situation wasn't the best for these little guys so they reached out to us for help and we gladly accepted. We know their family wanted nothing but the best for them and we want to make sure these boys get just that. Rocky (the cute little butterball) is dad, he’s 11 and seems very easy going. Rocky actually competed in the Tucson Chihuahua races when he was younger and won TWICE! But, he has definitely retired from racing and is all about naps now. Gizmo, his 9 year old son is such a sweet boy who was recently beat up by a big dog in his previous home so he’s a little worried about what’s going on and has some healing to do. One of our best fosters has taken them in and we know she will take awesome care of them while we find their forever homes. They will be needing to stay together because they are bonded. So if you're interested in these senior brothers, reach out or fill out an adoption application. When they're ready to go, they would love to meet you.
Uly was rescued from euthanasia on August 3rd and we couldn't be happier about it. He is literally such an all around great dog who has all the energy in the world. Uly is a very sweet boy who loves to give hugs and play with all his favorite people and dogs. Uly is currently in training at our rescue and has come so far and is now in playgroup. He loves to play with other pups after he's properly introduced. Uly is a very smart boy who is learning to take control of his anxiety and really grow in his social skills. Uly would do best in a home with someone who can stay on top of him and really help him keep going in his training. He would love an active home that can keep up with him and all his energy. We are offering covered sessions with The Complete Canine to help him fit into your home. Uly is a such a goofball we all love being around. He would love to find his forever home. Reach out to meet him!
Brownie is a 1 year old Lab mix who was set to be euthanized April 2nd at PCACC in Casa Grande. Luckily we saved Brownie and he is now in our care. We took Brownie in to see the eye specialist and they told us he has cataracts in both of his eyes. They believe it was caused due to poor nutrition in his past considering how young he is. Brownie actually went to California and had his eye surgery done. He had cataracts and retina reattachment surgery, he got most of his eyesight back and is enjoying his new sight. Brownie is prone to get kidney stones so he has to be on a prescribed diet to keep them from forming. Other than that, Brownie is just waiting for his forever family to come along. Brownie is a very sweet boy who LOVES to play with other dogs. He has such a funny personality you can't help but fall in love with. Brownie is a silly boy who would brighten up anyones life. If you're interested in meeting this cutie pie, reach out or fill out an adoption application. Brownie would love to meet you.
We rescued Max from euthanasia back in July of last year. He was adopted in August 2019 but sadly he was surrendered back to us yesterday. His owners no longer want to keep him, they said Max isn’t the best with new people and their new house doesn’t allow dogs. We did offer training and we do make it clear in our application/contracts that you must always look for a home that allows dogs so this is a huge bummer. Max is a 5 year old German Shepherd mix who is so sweet and just wants love. He isn’t the greatest with other dogs but, we are working on it and he's so far making great strides. He goes on walks with another rescue pup twice a day and does awesome. Max is also shy when meeting new people but, adjusts quickly if he knows you mean no harm and simply want to love on him. We’re doing everything we can to help Max and his socialization skills to help him find his forever family. He is so worthy of a home and we know that’s all he wants. Reach out to meet him, he is an awesome dog who is so smart!
Swanson was rescued from euthanasia on May 24th. He is such a cute dork, who has a very big personality and really loves cuddling. Swanson can be shy at first but, once you've bonded with him, he is so sweet and turns into the biggest baby. Swanson's foster say he really is just a big goofy puppy that deserves a good forever home. He gets along with cats and was also good with female pups. Swanson is a sweetheart looking for his forever family, so come meet him. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. Reach out to make him yours! **Swanson is currently in a training program and will be available for adoption as soon as his training is completed.**
